As one of the founding employees, Mark Viegut and his wife Darla purchased Colby Metal in 2016. They proudly continue to create a customer-centric business with a specific focus on details and quality, which has stayed central to everything we have accomplished over the past 30 plus years! That commitment to quality has allowed us to grow substantially since the mid-1990’s, increasing our output and improving the wealth and variety of services we offer to our valued customers.
From humble beginnings to a 49,000 square foot facility and an unbeatable staff 70+ strong, we are proud to support our community, vendors, and employees by providing a safety-oriented, eco-conscious, professionally uplifting, and personally rewarding place to work!

Owner Mark Viegut has been at Colby Metal since it was founded in 1986, and with over 30 years of metal fabrication and precision powder coating experience, Mark prides himself on delivering top-notch quality and peerless service his customers deserve.
Owner Darla Viegut takes exceptional care of the employees at Colby Metal and welcomes each customer as if they were part of our professional family.
Working with all aspects of the plant at Colby Metal since 2005, Travis Kind, President, holds a deep knowledge and expertise of metal fabrication. He can bring any project or idea you have to life.
